Donate to the Boston Marathon Victims

We are all devastated at the tragic loss of the members of our community due to the Boston Marathon Bombings. This was a senseless act of terror, but we must stay strong and support those grieving families and the victims who have a long road to recovery.

Please consider donating to the following funds:

The One Fund Boston

Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino have announced the formation of The One Fund Boston, Inc. to help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15, 2013.

Richard Family Fund

On April 15th the Richard family was watching the Boston Marathon when bombs exploded nearby. Their young son Martin was killed. His younger sister and his mother remain seriously injured. Please donate to their fund. You can help them heal.

LU Lingzi Scholarship Fund

LU Lingzi was a beloved member of the BU community. An optimist with a powerful work ethic, she had just passed the first part of the master’s comprehensive exam in statistics—an accomplishment that gave her great satisfaction. Boston University is determined to keep LU Lingzi’s memory and example alive. Toward that end, and in conformance with the wishes of her family, the Trustees of the University have voted to establish the LU Lingzi Scholarship Fund.

Sean A. Collier Memorial Fund

In tribute to Officer Collier, the Institute has created the Sean A. Collier Memorial Fund. Gifts to this fund will be used to establish a Collier Medal—to be awarded to individuals who demonstrate the values and character of Officer Collier—as well as other causes.
